As a rapidly expanding, product-driven SaaS startup, we're on the lookout for a Product Owner to join our dynamic team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our growing company. You'll collaborate closely with a close-knit team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of this industry. Our tech and product team currently consists of three technical leads, seventeen developers, three QA specialists, one designer, one product owner, and two technical support engineers. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work on challenging problems with a very motivated team.

What you will do
As a Product Owner at Smeetz, you will be responsible for the success of our SaaS product. You will work closely with the engineering, design, sales and marketing teams to define and execute the product strategy, develop new features, and improve the user experience.
Your specific responsibilities will include:
- Defining and executing the product strategy, aligning it with the company's overall business goals in collaboration with the head of product, CTO amp; CEO.
- Prioritizing the product backlog based on customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
- Working with the engineering team to estimate the effort and timeline for new features, and to ensure that the product roadmap is realistic and achievable.
- Collaborating with the design team to create user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces.
- Working with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns for the product.
- Tracking product performance and making adjustments to the strategy as needed.
- Conduct customer research and gather user feedback.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders about the product roadmap and progress.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as product owner, preferably in the SaaS industry.
- Experience in managing teams.
- Great vision on the product and good tastes to build the best product.
- Attention to details.
- Extremely good organisational skills.
- Strong understanding of the product development process, from ideation to launch.
- Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
- Ability to define and execute a product strategy that is aligned with the company's overall business goals.
- Ability to conduct customer research and gather user feedback to inform the product strategy.
- Ability to prioritize the product backlog and manage the product development process.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
